Anxiety Disorders
Feeling anxious represents a normal reaction to stress. It helps one deal with a tense family situation, study harder for an exam, or focus on an important speech. In general, it helps us cope. When anxiety becomes an excessive, irrational dread, it has become a disabling disorder.
In any given year, over 18% of Americans over the age of 18 will experience the symptoms of an Anxiety Disorder.
Social stressors (i.e., financial issues, marital issues, etc.) can aggravate anxiety disorders. Working together, we can alleviate the symptoms of the following Anxiety Disorders:
